You need to eat, and where better to eat than outside? Just
stop at one of the turnouts and pull out your lunch. Of course, if
you want something a bit more civilized, there are developed picnic
areas allong the drive.

Picnic areas have tables, fireplaces, water fountains, and bathrooms.
