Virtual Tours of Shenandoah

Welcome, we're glad you decided to spend a little time with us. Please go on as many tours as you want. Some of the Trails in Shenandoah are harder than others. The easiest trails we marked in green, the intermediate ones are blue and the hardest trails are black. Red trails don't really exist in the park, but are interesting tours anyway. If you go to Shenandoah, please don't have unrealistic expectations about what trails you are able to go on. To start a tour, click on its name.

Dark Hollow Falls

This short trail takes you to the waterfall that is easiest to reach from Skyline Drive. If you are in a hurry, or don't want to walk much, you should at least do this one.

Limberlost

The first fully handicap accessible trail in the park. This relativily flat trail takes you through a stand of virgin Hemlock trees and through an old apple orchard.

South River Falls

A hike that is just a little longer and less crowded than most. South River Falls is the third highest waterfall in the park.

Whiteoak Canyon

A much more strenuous hike. This Six mile rountrip hike takes you by Six waterfalls. Make sure you put onsturdy shoes before embarking.

Waterfalls Tour

Skip the chit-chat. This tour takes you directly to all the waterfalls we have been to without miles of hiking between stops. If you want the express ride, this is the tour for you.

All of our trails are well blazed. Click on the right blaze to go forward, the left blaze to go back. The trail name to rushes you back to its homepage. Occasionally, other trails may cross yours, you can jump over to them or continue on your way. Be carefull not to get lost.
